Speaker 0 00:00:00 I'm Maria Priestman, the name of the father and the son, the Holy spirit. Amen. As we've been saying during, uh, during Holy land, during the fairytale days from Monday to Saturday night on Sundays, there's at the end of the mass, there's a prayer prayed over the people that are balling down. And so that at that point, when the priestess carpet of vest avail it really by bows down and then the grace is I'll read you every day. What that is today, the grace work specifically, the priest is praying over you. It's midnight, faithful, or God be strengthened by that gift that he received. And they may desire them by seeking them may receive them forever. And so that's the prayer over the people at the end of today's mass and the that we see a continuation of the pistol from yesterday. And the basic note that I just want to point out today is as we see turning turn away from doing that on well in the Holy day, he keeps talking about not doing our own will. Speaker 0 00:01:01 In other words, the sort of fast that we do, the sort of Latin thing we want to do, we want to do it according to according to God and not try to find ourselves in everything. If we're pursuing ourselves, that's what we're going to find. We want to be looking for the Lord. We want to look for the Lord in our prayers. Many times people pray, uh, in a way, cause they talked to him about it as a priest. And then they're astonished that God doesn't hear their purse, but he does hear their prayer. Many times. He says, no, cause their purse is not what's best for them. And it's just like a good parent. Wouldn't give a child everything they ask for you to have a little monster at the end of the day. It's the same thing with our perk. What we want to assess the pray for is the will of God. Speaker 0 00:01:42 We want to ask for the things that we need. But a lot of times we don't even know what's best for us. And that's just a part of humility because God has a plan and the plan also involves the cross. So we should never forget that just because we have a cross. It doesn't mean that that's against the will of the Lord. If we have a hangover, okay. We know where that came from. That's your own stupidity drinking too much, but a lot of CROs are sent to us because it's a means we've been praying to God. I want to become Holy. And so he hears us, but what's the way to Holy now it's the cross. And so he sends us across and it isn't the cross that we might want. If it's something that we picked, that's probably not the cross. That's going to make us Holy. We want to do his will. But then we have to pay for the grey, pray for the grace to embrace the cross. He'd send us and it'd be faithful to it. Even if we fall down and he gave us the example, they encourage us when to pray, to be faithful to that cross. And it will sanctify us. Speaker 0 00:02:44 Yeah. I have a good friend. Who's a mom. He's thankful for prison because that's what gave him the grades to turn his life around. Who would think of that? We don't know what God has planned with the cross. Pray for fidelity to your cross during Holy land. Right?
