Speaker 0 00:00:02 I'm Maria <inaudible> and the name of the pod and the son, the Holy spirit. Amen. It's a face to the presentation of our lady and the temple. There's a, there's a parallel, uh, uh, correspondence. Our Lord. You have our Lord's birthday, of course, on Christmas, the face of the Holy name, and then he's his presentation. And on February 2nd with our lady, of course, in September 8th, we have the feast of her, uh, nativity on the, on the 12th of September, we have the feast to the Holy name of Mary. And then today we have our presentation at temple. So there's this beautiful correspondence between the son and the mother. Uh, and some of the things you'll read, uh, they like to say, this is a pious legend, you know, a fairy tale, all that sort of stuff, which is you can see the influence really of what gave rise to Protestantism and these kinds of responses, because what we've had, and it's been in the church required a long time. Speaker 0 00:01:00 Now it's just unbelievable. Distrust of tradition. If you can, basically, if you can't find a written signed document from the very date something happened, obviously we don't know it's pulling on the most ridiculous things. Example of this is every year here in about a month, we'll find out from all the geniuses that we don't know the date of Christmas, and there'll be all this learned dispensation by a bunch of Judas priest telling us all, we're a bunch of morons, et cetera, as if the apostles couldn't turn to our ladies less than monitor. When was your son born? I mean, what? That would really be hard to find out when he was born, but we won't believe that it's the same kind of thing with the presentation. Of course, our lady was presenting the table and the fact that it might be found in certain things that aren't necessarily completely true. Speaker 0 00:01:44 It doesn't mean it. Isn't true. Of course, it's true. It's possible. The church in the East, this has been a face on the calendar since way back in the day. And in the West, we were we're going on 700, some odd years of it on the calendar. Other places, there was already artwork of art and all that. It was never a debate, but there was actually a feast. It's impossible that for 700 years in the West and for 15 800 some years and the age we've been celebrating a face that didn't exist as if God would allow us to give honor some fictional story, the whole thing's black. So when you hear that stuff like your brain off, as soon as he started hearing that, you know, you should put a glaze over your eyes and, Oh, here we go again. When you read those kinds of things are hearing, we can trust tradition. Speaker 0 00:02:30 It's trustworthy. God didn't abandoned, abandoned us to a bunch of people writing mother goose tale anyway, uh, in the Hispanic culture. It's, it's very beautiful. And the Mexicans had South American girls too. When they turned three, there's a beautiful ceremony where they come in with a candle and all that, and they get this blessing, the girls doing it. It it's it's exactly because of our lady being presented at temple with age of three, by st. Joe's and Saint Anne that they brought water, the temple to be raised up there. Then they have a quinceanera when they're 15, which is this beautiful, sir, not the Zoot suit thing that a lot of things that going on now, but the traditional one, we do a traditional one. It's when she's a young lady because she's been available the court and so forth traditionally, and exactly parallels when our lady came out of the temple. Speaker 0 00:03:17 And so we've been have traditional things and certainly the cultures that are more Catholic to remind us of these beautiful, these beautiful, significant points of our lady's life. Anyway, today was the day historically, I don't mean a calendar day, but the face that we're celebrating this day, historically that st. Joe came in Santa Santana, brought her lady in the temple Thanksgiving. Cause they'd been still, they didn't have a kid. And then our Lord, God blessed them with the mother of God. So they brought her there to be raised up and trained. And that's what we're celebrating today. Speaker 1 00:03:54 Okay.
