Speaker 0 00:00:00 Hi, I'm Maria Prisma and the name of the father and the son and Holy spirit. Amen. First Friday, we wanna be careful to make a communion of reparation to the sacred heart of Jesus for all the classmates and injuries that have any hurled against him. 1979, st. John Paul two came to America. He was in soldier field and he told the Bishop's assembled there. I hear that in your country that almost everybody goes to communion and almost nobody goes to confession, do something about that. And they've done nothing, nothing. We worry about millions of secondary and even frivolous concerns. And meanwhile, the confession lines shrank to they're almost nonexistent in most parishes and everybody goes to communion. And what does this tell us? It can't tell us anything in any particular person. We want to always assume the best, but it can tell us if we're looking at a vast CATIA people that there's lots of unworthy communions, and there should be no surprise. If we're not preaching to people, what the commandments of God, on what requires of us about what the real presence is, what it me, but what's required to make a good convenient. Why shouldn't they be shuffling up there? Speaker 0 00:01:45 Everybody else is doing it. And meanwhile, what's happening to our Lord. Saint Cyprian of Alexandria, explain the gravity of an unworthy communion. He says that those that receive our Lord unworthy receivables say, and Jesus Christ into their hearts say that he might rule and Jesus cry. They might offer him as a sacrifice to say in Aniko. Well, we have a tiny amount of people making reparation on first Friday in a tidal wave of people, making bad communion on Sunday. What you're doing is very important, who loves him anymore, who even believes in him, who really believes that is Jesus Christ, body, blood, soul, and divinity. Most Holy sacrament of y'all. Speaker 0 00:02:57 Before I went to seminary, a Protestant friend of mine who worked in the lab next to mine when we were in grad school, wanted to go to Catholic mass with me. So I told him you're going to be, Hey, you're not going to talk. You're not going to make fun of what we believe, et cetera. So I kind of went down the rules to make sure he wouldn't defend our Lord. Was there even unwittingly. Cause he was a good person. I'm speaking at a natural level. He didn't want to do anything offensive. And he was a devout Bible belief aftermath. He said, all right, Phil, I'm not talking about you, but I don't believe for a second that the people in there believe what you say. They believe. Speaker 0 00:03:50 If I believe that white host was, God, I wouldn't be acting the way they're at. I'd be on my face. What could I say to him? He was right. He understood more clearly the consequences of believing that's Christ. The most pleasant Saturday. Then the Catholics did, then the priest did. So we're making reparation, not just for bad communions, but for bad behavior. How many times my priesthood have I decided to stop in a chapel where the blessing sacrum is exposed. And I go in there and instead of praying, what do I have to do? I have to tell everybody to shut up. If they want to talk, go to the coffee house. Speaker 0 00:04:53 That's just standard. This is another thing we're making reparation for. I talked to young Catholics about various thing. They actually get annoyed at the commandments. As if I'm being judgmental. You tell them, you know, you actually have to go to mass on Sundays and holidays of obligation. They start laughing, blowing you off. You shouldn't use our Lord's name, Mike, that they, so he's got a sense of humor. You can't kill babies. Don't be so judgemental. Everybody's got a choice. You have to wait until you're married in the church for you have the honeymoon. Dude, everybody does this in on it. Speaker 0 00:05:49 And then when you tell them, you really should think about what religion you are and what God's requiring of you. They get mad and they go to community. These are just a few things I could go on and on all day on these meditation, these are what were the kind of things we're making reparation to our Lord. When he appeared to st. Margaret, Mary, what'd he say behold, the heart there's love man. So long. He had been loved so little in return. What has he done for us? Except take our sin and suffer and die on the cross and love us. How have we returned out? Make the most perfect communion you possibly can. So at least someone somewhere is receiving Christ into a heart that loves him.
